As a Senior Educator at Goodstart, you'll take charge of your own room, leading a team of dedicated Educators to deliver exceptional educational programs. You'll collaborate with the Centre Leadership Team and the Educational Leader to observe, inform, and continuously improve our teaching practices. Your commitment to safety and inclusivity ensures that every learning experience is tailored to meet the needs of all children.

About Goodstart East Sydney

Constructed in 2016, our architecturally designed centre features a striking rooftop play area with breathtaking views of the city skyline. We offer five age-based playrooms across three levels, each thoughtfully designed to enhance children’s learning and development through play, exploration, and nurturing relationships. As the Room Leader for our Nursery Room, you will:

- Lead our diverse team of educators to deliver high-quality early learning programs tailored to infants.

- Create a warm, safe, and stimulating environment that supports each child’s emotional and developmental needs.

- Build strong relationships with families and collaborate with them to support their child’s journey.

- Mentor and support fellow educators, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.

You’ll need

Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent)

Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards

Current NSW Working with Children Check
