About LegalVision
LegalVision is a market disruptor in the commercial legal services industry. Our innovative business model and custom-built technology allow our lawyers to provide a faster, better quality and more cost-effective client experience. LegalVision is a leader in delivering legal services in Australia and has assisted more than 150,000 businesses across Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. We were named a 5 Star Employer of Choice, one of Lawyers Weekly’s Top 25 Attraction Firms, and Law Firm of the Year at the Australasian Law Awards.
Our membership model sets us apart from traditional law firms. Rather than charging by the hour, we provide unlimited legal advice for a fixed monthly fee. This approach aligns our interests with our clients' success and removes the barriers that often separate businesses from getting the legal help they need.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a motivated Paralegal to join our busy Commercial Disputes and Litigation team. This role combines administrative support with hands-on experience in debt recovery matters.
Working closely with our legal team, you'll handle day-to-day administrative tasks while developing specific expertise in debt recovery processes. While the role starts with core administrative responsibilities, you'll have the opportunity to grow into managing aspects of our debt recovery practice, including drafting correspondence and basic court documents under lawyer supervision.
You will work directly with senior lawyers in a fast-paced environment, gaining practical experience while supporting our busy litigation practice. We offer comprehensive training in both administrative systems and debt recovery procedures.
What You’ll Be Doing
You will work closely with senior members of the team to:
- Managing client files and documentation;
- Assisting with research and document review;
- Assist lawyers in managing costs including, preparing cost estimates, updates and costs disclosure documents;
- Supporting debt recovery processes, including preparing court documents and correspondence;
- Providing administrative support to lawyers.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and ready to hit the ground running. Ideally, you will have:
- Previous experience as a paralegal, legal administrator, or administrative assistant in a professional services environment (debt recovery or litigation experience desirable but not essential);
- Strong organisational skills with proven ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in direct client interaction;
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy - nothing slips through the cracks; and
- The ability to work independently while thriving as part of a collaborative, passionate team.
This role is perfect for someone with solid administrative skills who wants to develop their career in law, particularly in debt recovery and litigation support. We provide comprehensive training and mentoring to help you succeed.
The Perks
- Fast-paced environment with accelerated growth opportunities for high performers.
- Talented and energetic teammates across Australia, New Zealand and the UK.
- Earn additional ‘LV Leave’ days, plus paid birthday leave, volunteering leave, and parental leave.
- Annual budget to spend on external learning and development.
- Regular firm-wide socials, drinks and team lunches.
- Vibrant office environment in Surry Hills, super close to Central Station.
Apply Today
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, so apply early to avoid missing out
Good luck
A note to recruiters: we’re all over this role, so there’s no need for you to get in touch. LegalVision does not accept unsolicited CVs or responsibility for any fees related to unsolicited CVs. Thanks
