Job Description Summary As the Ultrasound Sales Specialist at GE HealthCare you will be responsible for creating and winning sales opportunities in the NSW region, and maintaining relationships with departmental and technical decision makers. Success will be achieved by applying a consultative, problem solving and customer focused approach to selling. Importantly, you will be able to respond to customers' clinical and technical questions, including having the clinical ability to provide post‑sale customer support. This may include on site clinical in‑servicing and go‑live support. You will work in conjunction with the Account Managers; however you will lead the opportunity management process for your products. Job Description Essential Responsibilities - Financial performance – Ensuring pricing compliance for opportunities to maximise business profit - Territory & account management – Create and implement territory plans that prioritise target accounts and focus attention on high impact areas - Build strong business relationships and maintain a network of key opinion leaders - Presenting and discussing the technology and clinical benefits in terms which are relevant to customers and commercial teams - Represent the company at relevant medical conferences and technical exhibitions to promote Ultrasound products & solutions - Pro‑actively use social media platforms to leverage the GE HealthCare brand / products and services - Drive the tender / bid process including needs qualification, vendor selection, quotation and closure of opportunities to maximise customer satisfaction About You Your communication skills will be pivotal to your success. You understand how to influence others both verbally and in writing, and you are flawless at knowing how to communicate at all levels of an organisation. Qualifications/Requirements - Bachelor's Degree or minimum 5 years of selling experience in a medical, healthcare or technical field (e.g. biomedical engineering, medical physics) - Previous experience in the Healthcare Industry - Ability to interface with both internal team members and external customers as part of solutions‑based sales approach - Ability to energise, develop and build rapport at all levels within an organisation - Strong capacity and drive to develop your career - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in local language as well as good command of English - Ability to synthesize complex issues and communicate in simple messages - Excellent organisational skills, and fast‑paced - Excellent discovery, negotiation & closing skills - Strong presentation skills - Able to travel - Valid motor vehicle licence Desired Characteristics - Proven and progressive previous experience in sales/services/promotion to C‑suite and technical decision makers e.g. CEOs, Strategic Planning Directors, Facilities/Estates managers, Biomedical Engineers, nursing staff, medical specialty staff GE HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer where inclusion matters.
