Overview

Lotus Domino Migration Engineer – 12 Month FTC - $150K + Super (Negotiable) – Sydney CBD

You will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing a large-scale migration from Domino to Microsoft 365, ensuring data integrity, minimal disruption, and a seamless transition for end users. The target M365 environment is already established, allowing you to focus on the migration process itself. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and a specialist third-party migration vendor, acting as the technical lead and subject matter expert throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

- Lead the end-to-end migration from Domino to Microsoft 365, including email, file storage, and collaboration tools, replacing firewalls into a Intune MDM environment.
- Develop and execute migration strategies, timelines, and risk mitigation plans.
- Collaborate with a third-party vendor to ensure best practices, quality assurance, and performance testing are met.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues during the migration, ensuring data integrity and security.
- Provide technical guidance and support to IT and business teams, ensuring minimal user disruption.
- Document migration processes, configurations, and outcomes for compliance and future reference.
- Communicate migration progress and challenges to senior management and stakeholders.

Skills & Experience

- Proven track record in managing and executing large-scale migrations to Microsoft 365, ideally from Domino or other similar legacy platforms
- Strong Azure cloud experience
- Deep expertise with Microsoft Office 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive) and migration
- Experience of Zscaler
- Strong understanding of migration, integration, and security best practices.
- Experience working within regulated environments, preferably financial services.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Confident communicator, able to liaise with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
