Job Description

The Procurement Officer will manage end-to-end purchasing activities across a high-volume SKU environment, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials and components. Responsibilities include supplier selection, negotiation, and performance management, as well as maintaining accurate procurement records and aligning purchasing strategies with production schedules. The role involves close collaboration with planning, inventory, and manufacturing teams to support operational efficiency.

The officer will also monitor procurement KPIs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Proficiency in ERP systems is essential for managing purchase orders, supplier data, and inventory levels. Compliance with internal policies and external regulations is expected, along with a proactive approach to risk mitigation and supplier diversification.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in procurement within a high SKU manufacturing environment, demonstrating strong analytical and negotiation skills. They will be adept at managing complex supplier networks and navigating fast-paced production cycles. A detail-oriented mindset, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative approach are essential. Familiarity with ERP systems and a solid understanding of supply chain principles are required.
