Responsibilities will include collaborating with clients to address escalated issues, designing network solutions, and ensuring seamless operations within Cisco environments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Advanced Troubleshooting: Resolve escalated network issues involving Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless devices, with a focus on protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
- Configuration & Optimization: Configure and optimize Cisco systems, implementing advanced setups for VPNs, VLANs, QoS, and NAT to maximize network performance and reliability.
- Network Design: Collaborate on architecture projects, supporting network upgrades, redesigns, and the deployment of new Cisco solutions for clients.
- Incident Management: Act as the top-level support for complex incidents, engaging with Cisco TAC when necessary to resolve critical issues.
- Client Interaction: Liaise with clients to understand requirements, troubleshoot issues, and recommend solutions that align with business objectives.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior engineers, sharing best practices in Cisco technologies and advanced troubleshooting techniques.

Qualifications:

- Experience: 5+ years in network engineering or support, ideally within an MSP environment, with a focus on Cisco systems.
- Certifications: Cisco CCNP or CCIE certification preferred.
- Technical Skills: Strong expertise in IP networking, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS), security configurations, and Cisco network architecture.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Excellent analytical skills for diagnosing and resolving complex network issues under pressure.
- Communication: Effective communicator able to explain technical solutions clearly to clients and internal stakeholders.
