# # **Primary Details**Time Type: Full timeWorker Type: Employee**The opportunity****Your new role**As the Head of Regulatory Breach Reporting & Financial Crime, you will lead QBE AUSPAC’s regulatory incident framework, oversee financial crime risks, and foster a robust compliance culture. You’ll lead the Line 2 function overseeing breach management, sanctions compliance, anti-bribery & corruption, fraud prevention, and regional AML/CTF programs, ensuring timely regulatory reporting and strong governance.* Develop and implement financial crime and breach reporting strategies aligned with QBE’s global compliance framework* Oversee end-to-end breach management frameworks, policies, processes, and systems to support identification, assessment, escalation, and reporting* Lead advisory forums, including breach determination and customer remediation working groups* Advise on and oversee AML/CTF, sanctions, anti-bribery & corruption, and fraud prevention programs* Provide compliance insights and advice to senior stakeholders, including Board and Committees* Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, integrity, and continuous improvement**About you**You are a strategic thinker and proven leader, passionate about compliance and risk management. You thrive in complex environments and have a deep understanding of regulatory frameworks and financial crime prevention.* Extensive experience in a senior compliance role, preferably in financial services or insurance* Deep knowledge of Australian regulatory frameworks (ASIC, CGC, APRA, OAIC) and global standards* Experience managing breach reporting obligations under financial services, prudential, privacy, and data protection laws* Bring curiosity, deeply understanding data and can draw meaningful insights* Proven track record in driving process efficiencies, implementing compliance programs and leading teams* Familiarity with compliance risk systems, transaction monitoring systems, and data analytics**About QBE**We can never really predict what’s around the corner, but at QBE we’re asking the right questions to enable a more resilient future – helping those around us build strength and embrace change to their advantage.
