This position is key in developing and maintaining strong, effective relationships to support the successful delivery of joint priorities, initiatives, and projects.Operating within the Joint Operating Model and embedded Governance Forums, the role ensures all engagement activities are aligned with VicRoads’ obligations under the Concession Deed. It plays a vital role in ensuring that requests from both VicRoads and the State are effectively managed and fulfilled, contributing to seamless project delivery and long-term stakeholder partnerships.**About you**An experienced, collaborative, and adaptable professional with a proven track record in managing governance and state engagement within complex regulatory frameworks. Skilled at fostering credible partnerships and coordinating joint forums to support smooth project delivery. Known for exceptional attention to detail when reviewing and analysing complex information to ensure compliance and alignment with contractual obligations.You demonstrate a strong focus on outcomes while effectively balancing competing priorities in fast-paced environments. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills enable meaningful engagement with diverse stakeholders and successful achievement of objectives.* Tertiary qualifications in law, governance or a related field.* Proven experience managing state engagement and governance processes* Strong ability to coordinate joint forums and manage governance outputs* Expertise in reviewing complex information to ensure compliance with frameworks and contracts* Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment* Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills* High attention to detail with a focus on quality assurance and problem-solving**Our culture**Innovation powers progress, but it doesn’t come without support.
