Your Opportunity

Following a recent strategy and operating model review, our focus is on building the structure, skills and capabilities required for the next chapter of the IGO story. Our Information Technology team are seeking applications for a Manager IT Operations. In this role you will lead a team of 6 and assume full responsibility for the daily operations of servers, networks and cybersecurity, ensuring that all IT services are robust and secure.

What You’ll Do

- IT Infrastructure Management: Ensure the availability, performance, and security of IT infrastructure, proactively identifying and resolving potential issues;

- Cybersecurity Management: Develop and implement cybersecurity policies, procedures, and standards to protect IGO’s IT systems and data;

- Stay abreast of emerging cybersecurity threats and technologies, ensuring security measures remain effective;

- Service Delivery Management: Oversee the delivery of IT services to end‑users, ensuring services meet agreed‑upon service levels;

- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.

- Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and customer service within the team;

- Collaboration: Collaborate with broader IT team and key stakeholders to understand their needs and priorities, ensuring alignment and effective service delivery; and

- Manage relationships with key technology vendors and service providers.

What You’ll Bring

Along with an ability to lead, mentor and influence, you must have excellent stakeholder management skills and bring the following skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field;

- Significant experience in a similar role managing IT Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, and Service delivery;

- Experience with managing and maintaining a variety of IT infrastructure technologies, including servers (Dell, Pure, Hyper‑V), networks (CISCO), storage, and cloud (DC & MS) services;

- Best practice approach to Cybersecurity with experience in implementing and managing security systems;

- Technical certifications such as Microsoft Systems Engineer or CISCO network professional;

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; and

- National Police Clearance obtained within the last two months.
