A high-profile Federal Government department is looking to engagean experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to oversee managing daily operations of the primary data centre, including UPS and AC monitoring. The successful Senior Infrastructure Engineer will be offered a 6-month contract and receive a rewarding hourly rate.

The successful Senior Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for, but not limited to:

- Handling rack management, cabling and space optimisation.
- co-ordinating with vendors for maintenance, upgrades and compliance.
- monitoring system performance and utilisation through various systems including vROPs and EcoStruxure.
- Communicating with stakeholders and coaching staff.

The successful Senior Infrastructure Engineer will have experience in the following:

- Demonstrated ability in delivery of Data Centre upgrades around AC and UPS.
- Ability to produce design, build and operations documents for processes and procedures.
- Ability to deliver day-to-day operation of a Data Centre including rack management and cabling experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of, or ability to undertake research and analysis of current market offerings.
