About the role

Are you passionate about transforming how organizations find and grow talent? Orica is seeking a strategic, data-driven leader to join us as Manager, Talent Sourcing & Intelligence. What You’ll Bring

- Demonstrated expertise in talent intelligence, market analytics, and AI-powered sourcing.

- Proven ability to design and deliver skills-based hiring campaigns that achieve measurable outcomes.

- Experience leading technology and process innovation in recruitment (ATS, talent intelligence platforms, automation).

- Strong stakeholder engagement and advisory skills, influencing senior leaders and HRBPs.

- Track record of building and leading diverse, high-performing teams.

- Commitment to DEI, continuous learning, and inclusive leadership.

Success in This Role Means

Success in this role over the next two years means leading Orica’s transformation to a skills-based, technology-enabled talent acquisition model—where you’ll champion the adoption of AI and digital tools to augment both the team’s capabilities and the candidate experience. You’ll drive innovative sourcing strategies, redesign roles to leverage automation and AI for greater productivity, and ensure the team is equipped to deliver faster, higher-quality, and more diverse hires. A key part of your impact will be strengthening Orica’s employer brand to attract top talent globally, while fostering a culture of inclusion, continuous learning, and adaptability. Ultimately, your success will be measured by improved hiring outcomes, increased internal mobility, and Orica’s reputation as an employer of choice in a rapidly evolving talent landscape.

How We’ll Assess Your Skills

At Orica, we’re transforming how we attract, engage, and empower talent. We want to see your creativity, strategic thinking, and digital fluency in action. Instead of a cover letter, please submit a one-page pitch tailored to Orica, choosing one of the three prompts below. We encourage you to use AI tools, data analytics, and digital resources to inform and enhance your response.

1) Orica is looking to update its employer brand and employee value proposition (EVP) to align with our refreshed strategy, which emphasizes growth, sustainability, innovation, and inclusion.

2) Orica is committed to reimagining the future of talent attraction and engagement. The traditional recruiter role is evolving, with AI technologies enabling new possibilities for strategic impact.

3) AI usage is now widespread among candidates, impacting how we assess, select, and engage talent. Orica must ensure our processes are future-ready, ethical, secure, and deliver an outstanding candidate experience.
