Senior Power Platform Developer

We have a new requirement for a Senior Power Platform Developer, for an initial 3 to 6 month contract with possible extension. This role is based in Perth, and due to commence asap. You will be working a 37.5 hour week, Monday to Friday. There is also an option for a 4 day week if that's your preference.

The role

The Senior Power Platform Developer is a key technical role within the Corporate Governance and Improvement directorate. This position is responsible for the end-to-end design, development, and implementation of business solutions on the Microsoft Power Platform, to improve collaboration, productivity, and compliance.

The role will engage with stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into secure, and compliant solution architectures. The Senior Developer will create Power Apps, Power Automate flows, and related components, ensuring all solutions adhere to departmental security frameworks, accessibility standards, and brand guidelines. This role requires the ability to estimate work content and planned timelines, communicate proposed solution design and progress on these solutions.

You’ll have:

- Experience in design, configuration, administration, and end-to-end development of enterprise automation solutions built on Microsoft Power Platform.

- Ability to create sound software design and technical architecture documentation.

- In-depth knowledge and practical experience in applying strict security controls, accessibility standards, and corporate branding within application development.

- Project management skills with the ability to estimate work effort for project plans.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders and deliver a customer-centric service.

- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with meticulous attention to detail.

- Experience in the government sector is highly desirable.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Microsoft certifications such as: Power Platform Fundamentals, Power Platform App Maker Associate, Power Automate RPA Developer Associate, Power Platform Solution Architect Expert

- Ability to obtain a national police clearance
