You will be trained to complete Strength & Conditioning physio classes, provide 1:1 companion support, be dining champions, support engagement and intergenerational programs, and learn medicator shifts. You will also participate in education sessions called "community of practice" to learn how to care for residents with needs across Dementia care, Infection and wound management, Falls management, and Palliative care, alongside colleagues who are passionate about being care professionals. Ideally, you have worked in the healthcare sector and possess the ability to “think on your feet”, communicate effectively, build rapport, and have a strong purpose to help the elderly in our communities. Additionally, you will have: - A passion for choosing a career where you can make a difference and a willingness to help our company deliver quality care services every day - Excellent safety awareness to prevent residents from tripping, falling, or injuring themselves — you need to be their extra eyes and ears - A positive teamwork attitude, trustworthiness, excellent time management (including shift handovers), and adherence to strict safety procedures to maintain high safety standards. - Qualifications in Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) OR current studies in related healthcare courses. We recognize other Cert III courses as well. - Hold NDIS Workers Screening Clearance, or willingness to obtain it, as this is essential for aged care work.
