Canberra Health Services (CHS) is focused on delivering high quality, effective, person-centred care. It provides acute, sub-acute, primary and community-based health services to the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) and surrounding region.

Responsibilities

The Business Manager will report to the Executive Director, Medicine and Critical Care. The role will provide support to the Division in the delivery of all operational functions, including: overseeing the administrative functions within the department, ensuring key performance targets are met, and ensuring standard operating procedures are adhered to.

The Business Manager will be responsible for ensuring that appropriate data is available, analysed and presented to support business decision making, bridging financial and business management. This role will focus on delivering streamlined, efficient services that are managed and benchmarked nationally. It will lead project management of new models of care and organisational change initiatives, while driving ongoing development of services going forward.
