About the organisation
Court Services Victoria (CSV) is an independent statutory body corporate which provides administrative and expert support to the Supreme Court, the County Court, the Magistrates’ Court, the Children's Court, the Coroners Court, the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal, the Judicial College of Victoria and the Judicial Commission of Victoria. These entities and CSV are collectively known as ‘Courts Group’.
CSV aims to ensure that Courts Group is independent, sustainably resourced and supported to deliver justice and safeguard Victorians’ trust in the rule of law. Primarily through innovative solutions and best practice governance frameworks to deliver corporate and administrative services, enable economies of scale and provide expertise in specialist areas focused on ensuring the efficient and effective operations of all in the Courts Group. CSV continues to evolve, and contemporary technology solutions will underpin its success as a shared digital service provider across the Courts and VCAT.
About the role
Reporting to CSV’s Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Digital Officer (CDO) is a key member of the executive team and is responsible for shaping and leading an enterprise-wide digital strategy underpinned by unified and trusted digital services across the Courts Group and guiding the organisation through a period of significant digital reform. As the role engages and influences a broad range of stakeholders, the CDO must be a persuasive, collaborative leader who builds trust, aligns diverse interests, and fosters a shared digital vision across jurisdictions.
About you
As a leader with a strong record of fostering a positive and collaborative high-performing workplace culture, you excel at communicating complex technology concepts and issues to senior stakeholders. With extensive experience at a senior executive level within complex and dynamic organisational environments, you call on exceptional professional and specialist judgement, clear and sophisticated thinking, and the ability to perform under pressure. Your proven track record of positioning technology as an enabler of change and leading large-scale digital transformation journeys in comparable operating contexts will support your success in this role.
