At Ernest Henry, you can choose what suits your priorities. Work an attractive fly-in/fly-out (FIFO) roster from Cairns or Townsville, or a drive-in/drive-out (DIDO) roster and take advantage of our top-class camp, or live local in the close-knit community of Cloncurry and be home every night.
This roster is 8/6 days only 12-hour shifts

About the role
Reporting to the Site Services Supervisor, you will form an integral part of the Facilities team by delivering high quality electrician services that are vital to the ongoing success of the Ernest Henry Mining operation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting routine and preventative electrical maintenance on village infrastructure including accommodation rooms, kitchen, laundries, water and sewer plants and distribution boards
- Performing inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintenance standards
- Troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems and equipment
- Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and asset condition
- Collaborating with other trades for coordinated maintenance efforts
- Ensuring compliance with company safety policies and statutory regulations
- Contributing to a clean, safe, and productive work environment
- Supporting emergency response activities (manual driver’s licence required)
About you
You will hold relevant qualifications, QLD electrical licence as well as current CPR/LVR and a manual driver’s licence. Additional certifications are highly regarded. Additional tickets such as Forklift, EWP, Confined Space, and Working at Heights are highly regarded. You bring experience in your trade, preferably in remote or mining environments, experience in maintaining laundry and commercial kitchen equipment is an advantage. You’re reliable, safety-focused, and capable of working independently in physically demanding conditions.
