Position Summary

Performance Analyst to connect with the client and get NFR. Validate and clarify the requirements with business stakeholders. Understand the high-level designs at an architectural level that supports the performance requirements and identifying performance risks. Identify Performance bottlenecks across application tiers (at code, query, configuration & infrastructure layers), and providing actionable inputs (tuning recommendations) to development teams. Work closely with the program managers and the POs in strategizing the releases and the people needed to support that. Proactively identify the resource needs and help plan better.

Mandatory Skills

- End to End Performance Validation, LoadRunner, Python, Perfmon, Splunk, AppDynamics, Store Operations, Retail, Instore Prod & Workforce Mgmt., Point of Sale & Service, In Store Labor Assessment, POS Strategy, POS Software & Hardware, POS Strategy

- Proficiency in NFR Consulting activities such as NFR validation, Production Analytics and Workload modelling activities.

- Help in troubleshooting and solving complex Performance issues and Recommending performance optimizations

- Set up monitoring framework for improved performance monitoring of the application to ensure business scale and growth

- Identify Performance bottlenecks across application tiers (at code, query, configuration & infrastructure layers) and provide actionable inputs (tuning recommendations) to development teams.

Duties and Responsibilities

- The associate will liaise with internal/external clients to understand and document the Performance & Resilience requirements including SLAs, volumetrics, performance monitoring and scalability.

- Validate and clarify requirements with Business Stakeholders to define Scope.

- Involve in conducting capacity and availability planning reviews.

- Undertaking feasibility studies for major IT developments and understanding of how high-level designs at an architectural level that supports the performance requirements and identifying performance risks.

- Provide guidelines and make recommendations to prepare HLD and LLD documentations.

- Modelling areas of risk to estimate latency characteristics and capacity requirements.

- Working with the designers/ development leads to establish and communicate performance related design/ development/ and coding principles and best practice.

- Reviewing the designs and early deliverable to assess performance.

- Proficiency in NFR Consulting activities such as NFR validation, Production Analytics and Workload modelling activities.

- Help in troubleshooting and solving complex Performance issues and Recommending performance optimizations.

- Set up monitoring framework for improved performance monitoring of the application to ensure business scale and grow.

- Identify Performance bottlenecks across application tiers (at code, query, configuration & infrastructure layers), and providing actionable inputs (tuning recommendations) to development teams.

- Implement & enhance service observability against set SLI/SLO/SLAs by setting up monitoring and alerting using Splunk and other APM tools.

- Works closely with clients to implement/ migrate new systems and provide regular updates to clients and project stakeholders.

- Drive performance engineering as an integral step during the software development life cycle.

- Provide support to fix and resolve application / infrastructure issues in LIVE.

- Assuring adherence to best practices.

- Identify the opportunities to automate testing and come up with plan for the same.

- Identify the opportunities to shift left in dev process and enable better QA through the development cycle.

- Create better synergy between the BA, devs and QA teams.

- Work closely with the program managers and the POs in strategizing the releases and the people needed to support that.

- Proactively identify the resource needs and help plan better.

Qualifications & Certifications (Optional)

- B.E/ B.Tech

Salary Range

$ 65,000-$85,000
