About the Role
Are you seeking a rewarding career as an Occupational Therapist? The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our South Australian Intellectual Disability Health Service (SAIDHS).
SAIDHS is the statewide outpatient health service for adults with intellectual disability.
As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive assessments, developing personalised treatment plans and providing therapeutic interventions to enhance their daily living skills, independence and overall well-being.
In this role you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care. Your expertise and commitment will contribute to creating a supportive and inclusive environment for our clients.
Travel between health sites and within the community will be required for this role.
Appointment to the role will be at the AHP1 or AHP2 classification, dependent on the level of experience.
To be eligible for this position, you must hold an appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration as an Occupational Therapist with Occupational Therapy Australia.
