Southern Cross District High School (SCDHS), located in the Eastern Wheatbelt, provides contemporary education for around 60 students from Kindergarten to Year 10. Our small student population enables us to offer a personalised learning environment, whilst also providing a breadth of curriculum, teacher expertise and resourcing. The successful applicant will ideally possess the professional knowledge, practices and experience to deliver an engaging and relevant English and Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS) curriculum. In this role, you will promote and foster student engagement and achievement through building productive working relationships with staff and students.

We are seeking a Teacher who is ideally creative and hands-on in delivering English and HASS. You should ideally be someone who works well in a collaborative team environment, values strong relationships with students, parents, and the community.

The successful applicant should possess the ability to work in multi-age group classes requiring differentiation. You will engage in professional learning, work professionally with colleagues, and ideally have good communication and interpersonal skills, working as a member of a vibrant and enthusiastic school team.

Additionally, as the successful applicant, you will ideally provide excellence in creating and maintaining supportive and safe learning environment and provide educational opportunities and activities which enable students to achieve their highest potential.

- consent to a screening and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before you start
