Your mission as a Senior Account Executive is to drive transformative outcomes for the world’s biggest brands—together.
Key responsibilities
- Drive and manage the Basware software sales lifecycle from lead generation, pipeline building, forecasting, and closing net new accounts in the region for companies with annual revenue greater than $1bn USD
- Demonstrate solution value by identifying key business drivers and developing compelling points of view to drive executive-level conversations and decisions
- Act as a Customer Advisor to drive automation at the CFO office
- Consistently achieve quota with potential for overachievement
- Build and manage an opportunity pipeline large enough to reach revenue targets
- Collaborate with sales, solution value consulting, customer success, professional services, BDRs and marketing to develop opportunities
- Develop and manage regional marketing and lead generation activities within the marketing framework
What We’re Looking For

- 5+ years of experience in enterprise SaaS solution sales, ideally with a focus on financial systems, spend management, invoice automation, or related domains
- A track record of delivering meaningful outcomes for large customers through a consultative, value-based sales approach
- Strong customer-facing skills and executive presence, with the ability to build credibility and trust at C-level within enterprise accounts
- Proven ability to lead and inspire cross-functional virtual teams, coordinating internal stakeholders and external partners
- Experience managing complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders (Finance, Procurement, IT, etc.)
- A self-starter who takes accountability for success and drives the supporting organization to enable it
Awareness of artificial intelligence concepts, tools, or applications is considered a strong asset. We value candidates who are curious, proactive, and willing to explore AI-driven technologies. We support continuous learning in this area.
