About the role
BaptistCare is one of Australia’s largest home care providers and a leader in service quality and innovation. We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our growing team in the Central Coast and surrounding areas.
You will deliver evidence-based physiotherapy assessments and interventions to clients under aged care funding programs, with a focus on reablement and restorative care. Your work will help older people maintain or regain independence, mobility, and confidence to remain living at home.
Your team
You will be joining an established and supportive group of health professionals who share a passion for helping older Australians live well. Guided by our unique Well-Living approach, we focus on empowering clients to live their best possible lives at home, surrounded by the people, community and memories they love most. Together we help people feel loved, valued and respected every day.
About you
- Degree in Physiotherapy with current AHPRA registration
- Demonstrated abilityto assess physiotherapy needs and develop individualised programs for aged care clients in the community
- Post graduate experience working with in a variety of aged care services, including rehabilitation and community settings
- Comprehensive understanding of reablement and restorative care models
- Confident working both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated computer literacy
- Alignment with BaptistCare’s values and mission
- Current first aid certificate or willingness to obtain
- Unrestricted driver’s licence and access to a reliable, registered vehicle with minimum Third-Party Property Damage car insurance.
