I'm working with a large Federal Government department to find a Senior Server Engineer.

This position is based in Canberra.

This is an initial 12 month contract with 2 x 12 month extension options, requiring Australian citizenship with the ability to obtain a baseline clearance.

You willhave the following experience:

- Detailed Windows Server understanding and experience including Active Directory, Entra ID, DNS, PKI, ADFS, File and Print, DFS and GPO with Advanced Group Policy Management (AGPM)
- Experience with systems monitoring and patching in Microsoft System Centre products and Intune (SCOM, SCCM/MECM) -
- Understanding of Cyber Security tools and methodologies including application whitelisting, host-based firewalls, vulnerability scanners and device control

You will ideally have the following experience:

- Experience managing Azure Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) servers including template deployment, user and resource administration
- Understanding of Australian Government Cyber Security requirements, processes and artefacts including ISM, Essential 8 and ACSC hardening guides
- Strong experience in writing technical documentation including SOPs and design documentation.
- Experience implementing and managing Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions such as CyberArk, including vaulting credentials, session monitoring, and integrating with enterprise authentication systems. Experience with enterprise identity management solutions.
