The Client
ISO Care Pty Ltd is a trusted NDIS-registered provider delivering person-centred disability and community support services across New South Wales. The organisation is dedicated to helping individuals with disabilities and complex needs achieve greater independence, wellbeing, and inclusion.
As the demand for services grows, ISO Care Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and passionate Residential Care Officer to join their team in Liverpool, NSW.
The Role
The Residential Care Officer provides day-to-day care, supervision, and emotional support to people with disabilities and/or complex needs living in supported accommodation (SIL homes). The position focuses on helping residents achieve their personal goals, develop independence, and maintain wellbeing in accordance with NDIS Practice Standards and ISO Care Pty Ltd’s person-centred approach.
This is a full-time role with an annual salary set at $86,000 plus superannuation.
Responsibilities
Supervise and assist residents with daily living activities, including personal care, hygiene, meals, and medication (as directed).
Implement and monitor individual care and behaviour support plans.
Promote residents’ independence, participation, and social inclusion.
Facilitate recreational, educational, and community-based activities.
Provide emotional support and maintain a safe, respectful living environment.
Record and report incidents, progress notes, and behaviour data accurately.
Liaise with families, healthcare providers, and allied health professionals.
Ensure compliance with NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission standards.
Maintain confidentiality and uphold residents’ rights and dignity.
Participate in ongoing professional development and supervision.
Requirements
Diploma or higher qualification in Community Services, Disability, or Welfare Studies.
At least 2 years of relevant experience in disability support or residential care settings.
At least 2 years of experience implementing and monitoring individual care or behaviour support plans.
At least 2 years of experience working with participants with complex behavioural or medical support needs.
At least 2 years of experience liaising with families, clinicians, or allied health professionals in a care environment.
Demonstrated knowledge of NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission standards and incident reporting.
Strong understanding of positive behaviour support and person-centred care approaches.
Experience maintaining accurate client documentation, progress notes, and compliance records.
Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check, National Police Check, and Working with Children Check.
Current First Aid and CPR certifications.
Valid Driver’s Licence and willingness to work flexible shifts (including weekends and public holidays).
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
Culturally sensitive, professional, and committed to supporting client dignity and independence.
