We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Specialist in Respiratory and/or Sleep Medicine to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing patients with a wide range of respiratory and sleep disorders, contributing to ongoing research projects, and participating in teaching and quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

- Provide expert clinical care to patients with respiratory and sleep disorders, including asthma, COPD, sleep apnea, and other complex conditions.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement appropriate interventions.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
- Participate in clinical research and contribute to the advancement of respiratory and sleep medicine.
- Engage in teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and other healthcare professionals.
- Contribute to quality assurance and improvement activities within the practice.

Requirements

- Medical degree with specialisation in Respiratory and/or Sleep Medicine.
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience in managing a broad range of respiratory and sleep disorders.
- Strong clinical, research, and teaching skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
