Location: Armadale Unit/Division: Armadale Health Service > Occupational Therapy Department Work Type: Casual, Fixed Term - Full Time, Fixed Term - Part Time, Permanent - Full Time, Permanent - Part Time Armadale Kalamunda Group is seeking to establish a pool of suitably skilled Occupational Therapists for our rotational positions. Rotational work areas include inpatient rehabilitation, acute and general medicine, surgical, community rehabilitation, mental health, and palliative care. Most Occupational Therapy positions are based at the Armadale Hospital site, with a smaller service at Kalamunda Hospital. This is a recruitment pool for permanent full time, permanent part time, fixed term full time, fixed term part time, casual appointment/s with the possibility of extension and/or permanency. This is an “open-ended” recruitment pool, which means: - The panel will monitor the pool and assess applicants on a regular basis. - We encourage you to apply as soon as you are able as appointments may be offered prior to the pool advert closing date. - Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. - Appointments may be made from this pool until 30/04/2027. Armadale Health Service is a general hospital equipped with an Emergency Department and Intensive Care Unit and provides high-quality general medical and surgery services, rehabilitation, maternity, paediatric and neonatal, mental health, renal medicine and dialysis services and ambulatory care. Kalamunda Hospital provides inpatient palliative care, a palliative care day hospice and endoscopy services. Australian citizenship or permanent residency is an essential requirement for applicants to be considered for permanent positions in the public sector. To be eligible for a fixed term appointment you must have documentary evidence of your entitlement to live and work in Australia for the period of the contract. This position requires APHRA registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia. - 2025 final year Occupational Therapy students are welcome to apply. However, if successful to the pool cannot be appointed to a position until registered to practice as an Occupational Therapist in Australia.
