City Of Joondalup, Australia SEEK Volunteer Full time

We are seeking dedicated individuals who are committed to the health and happiness of seniors to join our team as Walking Companions on Tuesday and / or Friday morning's from 9:30am.

In this role, you'll have the rewarding opportunity to accompany residents at our residential aged care home in Joondalup on walks around the facility, contributing to their physical wellness and providing a friendly presence for meaningful interactions.

Requirement:

A genuine interest in the well-being of seniors and a passion for promoting physical and mental health.

Good physical health and capable of walking at a moderate pace over short distances.

Good communication skills and the ability to create a comfortable and engaging environment.

Empathy, patience, and a friendly demeanor when interacting with residents.

- National Police Certificate
