We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Secondary Humanities and Social Sciences Teacher to join our dynamic teaching team, commencing Term 1, 2026. This part-time teaching role is an opportunity to join a dynamic Secondary School team and shape a flourishing learning community grounded in Gospel truth.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons in Humanities and Social Sciences in line with the Western Australian Curriculum

- Create a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement

- Assess and report on student progress in accordance with school and curriculum requirements

- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents and the wider school community

- Model and foster values of teamwork, resilience and respect

Selection Criteria

Essential:

- A personal commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ and active involvement in a Christian church

- Registration (or eligibility) with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia (TRBWA)

- Strong knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum in HaSS

- Ability to integrate ICT into teaching and learning

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- A commitment to ongoing professional learning and growth

- A current Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain)

- Desirable:

- Experience in teaching Year 11 and 12 HaSS in Action or Modern History

- First Aid qualifications
