The Role

In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for the upkeep of buildings, gardens, and communal areas, helping ensure everything runs smoothly. From general repairs and inspections to garden care and safety checks, you’ll help keep our community in top shape. Reporting to the Village Manager, you’ll be a trusted go-to for practical solutions and support.

What You’ll Do

- Perform maintenance checks and address repairs across buildings and equipment
- Keep gardens tidy and thriving through regular mowing, weeding, and care
- Respond promptly to urgent issues, ensuring the village remains safe and functional
- Maintain records of completed work and manage tools and stock levels
- Build positive relationships with residents through respectful and helpful communication
- Support sustainability and WH&S initiatives as part of daily operations

What You’ll Bring

- The ability to work independently with great time management
- A proactive mindset and practical problem-solving approach
- Good physical health (able to lift/move up to 15 kg)
- A genuine interest in gardening and property upkeep
