The Role
Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to join their team. Based in either Brisbane or the Gold Coast, the successful candidate will play a key role in the commercial management of a variety of construction projects from pre-construction through to completion.
This position offers the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio and collaborate closely with project managers, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure all contractual and financial aspects of projects are managed effectively.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and administer subcontractor and supplier contracts
- Manage contract variations, progress claims, and payment schedules
- Monitor and report on project budgets, costs, and financial performance
- Assist with procurement and tendering processes
- Liaise with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors to support successful project delivery
- Maintain accurate and compliant project documentation
- Provide commercial support to project managers and the broader team
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a Contracts Administrator role within the construction industry
- Exposure to residential, hospitality, retail, or industrial projects
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, legislation, and compliance
- Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Jobpac, or similar)
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and commercial acumen
- Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field
