The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Paraplanner to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals with a foundation in financial planning or finance who wish to grow within the financial advisory field. As a Paraplanner, you’ll play a critical role in supporting our financial advisers by researching, preparing, and documenting tailored financial strategies for clients. You’ll gain hands-on experience in developing strategic solutions across superannuation, investment management, and risk protection, working alongside our experienced advisers.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy Development: Assist in the preparation and documentation of customized financial plans, including superannuation, investment, and insurance solutions.
- Research & Analysis: Conduct product research and analysis to identify suitable options for client portfolios.
- Client Documentation: Prepare Statements of Advice (SOAs) and other client documents that meet compliance standards.
- Ongoing Client Support: Assist advisers with follow-ups, updates, and strategy reviews, ensuring clients’ plans stay aligned with their goals.
- Compliance Management: Support the compliance process, ensuring documentation meets regulatory requirements.
Candidate Requirements
- A degree in Financial Planning, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and research skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Commitment to the financial planning profession and a desire for ongoing learning and industry development.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
