Overview

Are you looking for a regular role with aged care clients who are living in the community? This role is for you. Family-friendly hours, on-the-job training, and the opportunity to complete your studies while being paid. We are seeking caring, reliable individuals to join a well-established home and community care organisation in the local region.

No experience is required; training is provided in Certificate III in Individual Support, with paid attendances on buddy shifts, regular shifts, and training days. Shifts are available Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Responsibilities

- Visiting clients in their homes to provide services which may include: Domestic Assistance, Shopping trips, Personal Care (dressing, showering, grooming, toileting), Meal Preparation, Transportation, and support to and from Medical Appointments
- Support social activities and respite care as part of client services
- Progress to additional services as you upskill, such as personal care, respite, catheter care, and more

Qualifications and Requirements

- Have a great attitude, be reliable, and willing to learn and work
- Ability to pass a National Police Check (we will arrange this for you)
- Current NSW drivers licence and a reliable, registered vehicle with full comprehensive insurance
- Regular availability
- Australian or New Zealand citizen, or a Permanent resident, allowing access to State Funding for the program
