About the role:

- Working with medical professionals, institutions and intermediaries across all lines of work from civil litigation, disciplinary, coronial inquiries and Medicare / Professional Services Review investigations, in addition to issues of practice and procedure.

- Gain a depth of invaluable experience in multi factorial claims including policy interpretation and coverage issues.

The ideal candidate:

- 3+ years’ post-admission experience in defendant medical negligence or health law, up to Special Counsel level.

- Experience acting for insurers or healthcare institutions.

- A Credit or Distinction average in your law degree (graduates from UNSW or University of Sydney viewed favourably but not essential).

- A professional, down-to-earth style and genuine interest in long-term development.
