What you will lead and manage

- We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Medical Technology ANZ to lead and drive the performance of this business across ANZ.

- Reporting to the Managing Director and leading a department of 90 staff, the Head of Medical Technology is responsible for the overall performance of the division and delivering sustainable results.

- The successful candidate will be an exceptional people leader with the ability to develop and execute strategies for business growth, ensuring alignment with global objectives and local market needs.

- You will develop and implement effective go‑to‑market and service strategies, including medium‑term planning, budgeting, and forecasting in collaboration with regional and global teams and you will lead, motivate, and develop high‑performing sales, marketing and service teams, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.

- You will oversee operational responsibility for sales and service, ensuring alignment with governance and achievement of strategic and financial targets and prepare and present business reviews, forecasts, and performance reports; taking corrective action as needed to achieve business objectives.

- You will drive people development, including recruitment, mentoring, and training, to ensure optimal staff performance and retention and set and evaluate targets and incentives for local teams in line with company policies.

- You will devise and implement customer relationship strategies to strengthen long‑term partnerships and brand reputation and oversee marketing activities, including trade shows, advertising, product launches, and workshops.

What you will need

- 10+ years of relevant industry experience in medtech, coupled with a university degree.

- Minimum 5 years’ senior management experience, with a proven track record in business development and operational leadership.

- Experience successfully leading and motivating teams for high performance.

- Highly developed communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.

- Ability to strategically analyse market environments and construct detailed short‑ and mid‑term plans to maximise financial performance.

- Strong computer literacy and formal management training (desirable) with strong financial acumen.

- Excellent English written and oral communication skills.
