About the Role
As Head Nurse, you’ll play a key leadership role in supporting our clinical team and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the hospital. You’ll lead by example in delivering high-quality nursing care, mentoring junior team members, and maintaining a positive and collaborative culture.
Your Responsibilities Include:
- Overseeing daily workflow and assisting with scheduling and rostering
- Providing training, mentorship, and support to the nursing team
- Maintaining high standards of patient care and clinical excellence
- Assisting veterinarians in surgical, medical, and hospital nursing
- Ensuring protocols, inventory, and equipment are well maintained
About You
You’re an experienced and enthusiastic Veterinary Nurse who enjoys leading by example and fostering a supportive team environment. You’ll bring strong communication and organisational skills, with a passion for continuous improvement in patient and client care.
You’ll Need:
- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent)
- 3+ years Vet Nurse experience
- Excellent clinical and interpersonal skills
- A positive, proactive, and team-oriented attitude
