Food and Beverage Attendant

Join our exceptional catering team as a Food and Beverage Attendant. The culture at St Margaret’s is warm and welcoming and hospitality is a big part of the culture, with a high focus on providing exceptional service to all visitors to the school. In addition to day‑to‑day internal functions servicing the school community, the school offers impressive function facilities and service to the broader community.

The role

You will work with a small, collegial and highly skilled catering team. In particular, the role works with the Functions and Events Coordinator and Kitchen Staff in partnership to:

- Ensure all functions and events run smoothly and to the highest standard

- Contribute to the set‑up, pack‑down and execution of service throughout functions

- Smaller functions will see you take sole responsibility for the set‑up, service and pack‑down of the function.

- Provide an exceptional and consistent level of service to all guests

- Assist across other areas of the catering function as required

About you

As an experienced and passionate functions professional, with a keen eye for detail and exceptional food and beverage skills you will bring to our team:

- A positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile to make our guests’ experience memorable

- A keen eye for detail and a pride in providing an exceptional product and service

- A high level of personal presentation

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- An RSA certificate

- Excellent organisational and time‑management skills
