Clinic Administrator - Preassessment

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team of clinic administrators.
You must have the ability to work well under pressure, be organised and have excellent customer service skills.
Tasks will require attention to detail, a patient focus and a drive for quality. Good communication skills are essential and you must be able to liaise with staff at all levels in a confident manner.
You must be willing to learn and be able to work both independently and within a team.
You must uphold our values of Kind, Safe and excellent at all times.
Main duties of the job
This role is to provide an administrative service to the Pre-assessment clinic. This will includes tasks such as greeting patients and visitors and handling telephone and email enquiries, including responding to requests for information, appointments and general enquires.
You will work with the nursing team to support the effective running of the clinic. You will have interaction with other areas of the hospital and other NHS organisations.
You will be responsible for arranging appointments for patients in a timely manner for various clinics within the department.
Occasional Saturday working will be required.

- or you will have successfully completed your course and have applied for a Graduate visa before the anticipated start date of your employment
- or the Trust has agreed that they will Sponsor you as a Skilled Worker and you will complete your studies within 3 months of the anticipated start date of employment.

Person Specification
Qualifications
- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent
- NVQ level 2 customer service/ business admin or equivalent
Experience
- Experience of customer service or dealing with the public
- Experience supporting new starters and less experienced staff
- Experience of working within a team
- Experience of prioritising, planning and organising own tasks
- Previous experience of working in the NHS
- Previous experience of working in a reception/administration role
Knowledge
- Understanding of confidentiality
- Understanding of customer service
- Basic knowledge of job requirements from job description
- Knowledge of administration procedures and systems
- Knowledge/use of EPIC (administration)
- Basic knowledge of the Trust
Skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Good communication skills including telephone, email and face to face
- Ability to follow policies and procedures
