About the Organisation:
This regional Community Controlled Health Service (CCHS) leads the planning, development and delivery of health, family wellbeing and social services to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander population of Southeast Queensland. Together, with their members, they work to improve the health, wellbeing, and economic independence of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait people in our region – the largest and fastest growing Indigenous population in Australia.
About the Role:

Moreton ATSICHS and the organisation deliver services that make a real difference to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people of Southeast Queensland. Their innovative system of care simplifies the fragmented and complex nature of the health system by integrating a range of co-located health and social support services – patients are always at the centre of their care. The team builds strong lasting relationships with patients and are trusted for providing high quality, culturally safe health services that address the social determinants of health and chronic disease. This role will be servicing Strathpine, Caboolture, Morayfield, Margate and Deception Bay.

About You:
- Compassionate and genuine

- Vocational Registered General Practitioner
- Unconditional registration with AHPRA/Medical Board
- Current medical indemnity insurance
- Up to date COVID-19 vaccination (prior to commencement)
Desirable:
- Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and/or communities.
- Knowledge of Aboriginal social and cultural history and the impacts of social determinants on health outcomes for Aboriginal clients.
