PURPOSE
Be a part of the exciting re-opening of our boutique and help shape its future as an Assistant Boutique Manager. In this dynamic role, you’ll manage day-to-day operations, ensuring a seamless launch and outstanding customer experiences in a brand-new setting. As a brand ambassador, you’ll reflect A. Lange & Söhne’s luxury image, transform corporate objectives into actionable goals, and use retail and CRM tools to drive sales. You’ll also assist the Boutique Manager with business analysis and action plans to achieve success and establish the boutique as a key destination for luxury timepieces.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. SALES
2. Meet personal budgets in accordance with brand retail strategy.
3. Discuss business opportunities/Action Plans of potential prospects with Assistant/Boutique Manager.
4. Act as a manager-on-duty when the boutique manager is absent.
5. Support the boutique manager in integrating and training new and existing team members.
6. Assist in timely boutique implementation and control of any new Visual Merchandising concept.
7. Ensure the boutique team confidently delivers Lange selling ceremony.
8. Foster a positive atmosphere within the boutique; optimistic, constructive, helpful, confident, etc.
9. Participate in VIP events and orders, being considerate of our boutique opportunities.
10. Build accurate and genuine relationships with customers.
11. Focus on recruitment of VIP, customer and prospect database for boutique sales and marketing activities.
12. Handle client complaints with care, reporting to Assistant/Boutique Manager any brand product related issues.
13. Coordinate individual repairs and after sales related matters with Sales Administrators.
Qualifications
1. Possess a ‘can do’ attitude and understanding of luxury retail sales floor operations.
2. Bachelor’s Degree.
3. 3+ years of prior work experience in luxury retail management and boutique operations with direct reports.
4. Exhibit critical thinking skills and strong solution orientation.
5. Demonstrate initiative, conscientiousness, and complete follow-through on all responsibilities.
6. Be flexible to change and adaptable in work responsibilities.
7. Availability and flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, store openings and closings, to meet business needs.
8. Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills.
9. Possess a “team player” spirit and ability to work well within a group/team dynamic.
10. Proficiency with MS Office software required – expertise in Excel.
11. Secondary language is a plus.
