As a Financial Accountant, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the integrity, accuracy and timeliness of our financial reporting, while also contributing to automation and continuous improvement across our finance systems and processes.

We currently have two opportunities available:

- 1 x Permanent Full-Time
- 1 x 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract

About the role

As a Financial Accountant, you'll contribute to the end-to-end accounting and finance cycle, focusing on:

- Month-end close activities, general ledger integrity, and fixed asset register maintenance.
- Preparation and peer review of journals, GL reconciliations, and accounting memos.
- Responding to audit queries and liaising with external auditors.
- Driving automation and improving existing systems, processes, and documentation.
- Delivering accurate, timely financial reports and supporting investor reporting.
- Partnering with internal stakeholders to ensure data quality and compliance with Australian accounting standards.

What you’ll bring

- CPA or CA qualified with 2+ years’ commercial experience in a Financial Accountant role.
- Strong understanding of Australian accounting standards, taxation, and corporate reporting.
- Experience with medium to large ERP systems—preferably Microsoft D365.
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with other Microsoft Office products.
- A detail-oriented mindset and strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A proactive, collaborative approach and a passion for continuous improvement.
- Experience in property or retirement living sectors is desirable—property development experience is particularly advantageous.
