About You

You are a technical infrastructure specialist who knows your wayaround technology systemsrequired to enable efficient andinnovative operation of Council's services. About the position

The Senior Systems Administrator works within the TechnicalInfrastructure team to design,support and maintain Council'sdata centres, servers, networks andtelecommunicationinfrastructure to meet operationalrequirements.

- This is a permanent full-time position based in theToowoomba CBD.
- Additional appointments may be made as opportunities arisein identical positions in the future.
- The annual salary range for this position is $112,420.03 -$119,173.77 gross per annum, plus 17.5% annual leave loadingand up to 12.65% superannuation.

How to be successful in this position

- A recognised tertiary qualification in InformationTechnology, Telecommunications or similar with relevantexperience, or a combination of substantial experience,expertise and competence to perform all duties of theposition.
- Relevant industry qualifications and local governmentexperience are desirable.
- Extensive experience in designing, implementing,maintaining and supporting ICT infrastructure and architecture.See PositionDescription for required technical skills.
- Excellent organisational and documentation skills.
- Experience in managing ICT projects.
- Excellent oral and written communication, numeracy andcustomer service skills.
- Commitment to a positive team culture.
