For further information please refer to the WWC website at: https://workingwithchildren.wa.gov.au Recruitment Pool Details This is an “open-ended” recruitment pool, and as such the following should be noted: - The panel will monitor this recruitment pool for applications, and will assess on a regular basis. - Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. - Appointments may be made from this pool until 30/06/2027. Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other “similar” vacancies throughout the health service. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision. Position Profile Responsible for service delivery of the Community Drug Service Team including clinical service delivery, community service delivery, education and training in the intervention and prevention of alcohol and drug related issues. Area Profile WACHS Kimberley is the most northern health region of WACHS. The Kimberley region has approximately 200 Aboriginal communities, over 34 different Aboriginal language groups and 45 percent of the population are Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people. WACHS Kimberley consists of six hospitals, an inpatient mental health unit, three Community Directorates and a Corporate Office. WACHS Kimberley provides hospital, community health, public health, remote area health, community aged care, and mental health services across the region through a dedicated team of medical, nursing, Aboriginal health, allied health and support staff.
