The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Body Builder to join the team at Re-Car Brisbane.

You will be responsible for fabricating and installing new components and parts, including the bodywork, onto the chassis of commercial vehicles using welding techniques.

Role Responsibilities

1. Assess the vehicle’s damage to determine how to perform the restoration work
2. Ensure the chassis crush is properly maintained & used appropriately
3. Treat company equipment with the same respect for your own tools
4. Advise the Parts Interpreter of any additional parts required not originally quoted on the estimate
5. Co-ordinate with other workers in the workshop to ensure the workflow is appropriately placed
6. Notify of any product shortages which would restrict production
7. Check the schedule daily to ensure time-frames are met

4. Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve issues that arise
