JoinVertical Scope Group’s(VSG) Professional Services Division inCanberra as we are seeking a driven, highly skilled and competent NV1 cleared, Project Officers to join our award-winning team in supporting our Defence and National Intelligence Community customers.

About you

- Experiennce in workinglarge complex technological projects.

- supporting collaboration between stakeholders with diverse objectives

- broad understanding of Australian government information security policies, guidelines and standards to physical and network infrastructure design and constructions

About the role

- handle a variety of other project delivery work tasks including being able to adapt and respond to promptly changing and competing priorities at short notice

- resolve problems using expertise, taking the initiative to identify alternative course of action

- high-quality secretariat services for multi-agency governance forums including organising meetings and room bookings, preparing and submitting agendas, minutes and briefing papers, and following up on the status of actions arising from these meetings to support project/team

- effective executive brief writing, program reporting and written stakeholder communications

- contribute to the continuous improvement process by developing and enhancing procedures

- establish and maintain project management artefacts in accordance with the endorsed project management methods and ensure their continued suitability to define, control and manage all work associated with a project, eg progress reports, risk and issue reports

- Objective administration and records management including providing advice and implementation of accesses, structure and the records management processes within the project

- work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders within established working groups, and actively participate in team work and group activities

- facilitation of work package planning and execution, to assist the project team with planning improvement and reduce the risk of scope creep

- hosting of regular daily stand-ups to track team progress, and note any obstacles that have the potential to keep the team from completing tasks.
