We are looking for someone to join our Sydney cafe team as our Café Chef.

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in the Sydney cafe. Our Café serves delicious coffee and food, exemplifies the Allpress brand, and showcases our coffee to potential wholesale customers.

This will be a Full Time, Mon – Fri role, with daytime hours. Please note: from Spring, the role will shift to Tuesday–Saturday to better support café trade.

We are looking for a strong communicator, proactive, organized, with problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail. The candidate should be resourceful, open-minded, and pragmatic.

The ideal candidate is passionate about high-quality, seasonal, and elegantly unfussy food, committed to continuous improvement, and capable of leading the team to bring our food vision to life daily. There is also room for creative input through seasonal specials and menu evolution.

In addition to overseeing the kitchen at our Sydney café, this role will lead menu development across all venues, offering greater creative ownership and a more competitive salary.
