Business Support Officer - Community Care & Active Living

Melton | Part-time (Monday & Thursday - 15.2 hours/week)
$47 per hour + super | 20 October 2025 - 27 March 2026 | Local government sector

Are you an experienced administrator looking for meaningful part-time work within a supportive, community-focused team? We're seeking a Business Support Officer to provide high-quality administrative and customer service support to a busy Community Care and Active Living department.

What you'll be doing:

- Delivering comprehensive administrative and systems support across the team.
- Responding to community and stakeholder enquiries with professionalism and empathy.
- Maintaining accurate records, databases and portals.
- Assisting with correspondence, reporting and general office coordination.
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of the facility.

About you:

- Certificate III or higher in Business Administration (or equivalent experience).
- Strong customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven experience in administrative support, preferably within local or state government.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Sensitivity to the needs of older adults, people with disabilities, and diverse cultural backgrounds.
