We are looking for Power Station Operators to oversee the day-to-day monitoring, operation, maintenance, and repair of power producing equipment at various customer sites.
This role requires a highly skilled and safety-conscious professional with extensive technical expertise in either mechanical or electrical fields.
These roles are on an even time, 15:13 lifestyle friendly roster.

To be part of the change this role will:
Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures and promote a safe working environment for all employees and contractors.
Repair and maintain power generation equipment at customer sites, ensuring all safety protocols are followed and equipment is fully operational.
Conduct preventative and reactive mechanical maintenance of power generation equipment, including troubleshooting and diagnosing.
Respond to emergency repair calls and breakdowns in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring minimal downtime for the customer.
Keep accurate records of work performed, including parts used, labour hours, and expenses, and provide detailed reports to the Power Station Manager.
Maintain a high level of client satisfaction by providing exceptional customer service and communicating effectively with customers to ensure their needs are met.
Participate in safety meetings and training programs.
Work collaboratively with other technicians and support staff to ensure all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
Desired Skills and Experience
BE this person
As part of the solution, you will have:
- Relevant Electrical or Mechanical Trade certification / licence
- Heavy Diesel Mechanical exposure advantageous
- Working with power generation equipment experiences preferable
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose complex issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and team members.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to safety.
