About the role
An opportunity has arisen for a Law Graduate to join our leadingGovernment & Administrative Law practice in Perth. The team actfor a range of Commonwealth Departments and Agencies, primarily inpublic law litigation. Whilst the main focus is on disability andinsurance access and planning matters under the National DisabilityInsurance Scheme (NDIS), the work also includes Commonwealthemployee compensation matters. Working under the guidance ofsupportive Partners, both of whom have a passion for training andmentorship, this hands-on role will see you assisting more seniorlawyers to prepare for conferences, conciliations and hearings inthe Administrative Review Tribunal, making this an invaluableopportunity to develop your skills, knowledge and experience.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have completed yourAustralian law degree or equivalent with a keen interest inlitigation. The work requires attention to detail, practicalproblem solving skills and the ability to think strategically.While general litigation experience will be highly regarded, it isyour passion and enthusiasm for the law, and your genuine interestin developing in the public law space, that will see you succeed inthis role.
