About the job

We are looking for a Project Manager with proven hands‑on experience in running customer projects. You will be responsible for overseeing evaporation projects and sub‑projects with varying levels of complexity and business impact, with a strong focus on managing external stakeholders, vendors, and subcontractors.

- Lead and manage external projects, take full ownership of projects involving external customers, vendors, and partners, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.

- Develop project plans specific to evaporation technology projects and coordinate with different stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient project execution.

- Coordinate internal teams and external vendors and subcontractors to ensure timely and quality delivery.

- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks associated with evaporation technology projects, and develop mitigation strategies.

- Manage changes, also the small ones, to the project scope, schedule, and costs.

- Oversee the installation of evaporation equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

- Implement quality control measures to ensure that evaporation systems meet performance and reliability standards.

- Maintain accurate project documentation, including specifications, drawings, and technical documentation.

At Alfa Laval, we embrace a hybrid work model, providing you the flexibility to work from home when it aligns with your tasks. This position is at our Copenhagen office, with an expected travel commitment of approximately 10 – 20 days per year.

What you know

- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemical or mechanical engineering, or a related field.

- Minimum 5+ years of experience project management, with a strong track record of successfully running customer projects.

- Experience managing customers, external stakeholders, vendors, and subcontractors is essential.

- PMP or PRINCE2 certification is an advantage and so is experience within evaporation.
