The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Clinical Director of Medicine to provide strategic, clinical, and operational leadership to the Department of Medicine. Tropical destination

About you

You’ll lead a dedicated team of medical specialists and registrars, oversee clinical governance, and play a key role in service development, education, and continuous improvement across the Health Service. Key Responsibilities

- Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Department of Medicine
- Foster excellence in clinical governance, patient safety, and quality improvement
- Supervise and mentor senior and junior medical staff
- Drive innovation and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams
- Represent the Department in strategic planning and hospital-wide initiatives

Remuneration & Benefits

- Total package: up to $562,124 p.a., including:
- Professional Development Allowance ($21,500 p.a.)
- Professional Development Leave (3.6 weeks p.a.)
- 12.75% Superannuation
- 17.5% Leave Loading
- Motor Vehicle Allowance
- Attraction & Retention Incentive Allowance (Private Practice arrangements available)

About You

- Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) or equivalent
- Registration (or eligibility) with the Medical Board of Australia
- Proven leadership and governance experience in a complex healthcare environment
- Strong commitment to clinical excellence, education, and innovation
