We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Humanities Teacher to join our growing team from the 1 st of January 2026. This full-time, ongoing position offers a rewarding opportunity to teach Humanities from Years 7 to 12. The successful applicant will have a heart for inclusive education and a strong commitment to helping every student flourish. This is more than just a teaching role – it's a calling to educate with purpose, inspire deep understanding, and nurture young minds within a Christ-centred learning community.

Key Responsibilities Include:

- Teach Years 7-10 HASS and Year 11-12 ATAR and General courses using a strong curriculum knowledge, employing varied strategies and differentiating to meet individual student needs.
- Maintain accurate and current records of student progress, monitor performance, and develop, critique, and implement programs and assessments, including remediation and extension activities.
- Apply effective classroom management techniques to create a positive learning environment and support students’ organisational and study skills.
- Communicate regularly with students and parents through formal and informal reporting, including meetings, reports, and other communication channels.
- Demonstrate care for students’ spiritual, emotional, social, and academic development, participate in pastoral care duties, and support the school’s Christian values and community involvement.
- Engage actively in school life by participating in extracurricular activities, school functions, house activities, and fulfilling additional duties as required by school policies and leadership.

- Maintains high levels of confidentiality, fostering trust, credibility, and honesty.

- To have a personal commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ and be an active member of the Christian community.
- To read and accept the Association’s Statement of Faith, Foundational Statements of Belief and Educational Objectives and to have a lifestyle consistent with the statements.
- Ability to inspire and engage learners in one or more HASS subjects.
- Experience planning and delivering courses in HASS to meet and exceed State and National Curriculum standards.
- Effective relationships and communication with staff, parents and students.
- A commitment to service/contribution to your school/community beyond the classroom.
